Cla is 2.0 4 cly turbo , m3 is v8 , gas prices are rising I would go cla but m3 is always a good body style and sounds great but see if the rod bearings have been done cause it’s a common issue and expensive but in the end both cars are I would go with cla just because it’s better on gas but if gas prices weren’t high I would go m3 it all depends honestly

AMG FTW!! I have a gla45 and people really sleep on these things. Decently light, hand built engine with forged internals (the highest output four cylinder ever made from factory which also has more power per liter than a chiron lol), brembos, and just a nice car in terms of materials and build quality. Probably one of the best cars you can get sub 35k on the used market rn. P.S If you do end up looking for one stay away from the 2014-15 cars. Ideally you want an 18 which has the slight facelift and updated trans with shortened gears. The earlier year cars develop a transmission issue where they grind going into park or reverse and this can be a pretty expensive fix. You can certainly find used ones with updated an updated trans already, but then again make sure the work was done at an oem or a good shop etc etc. Anyways love the sound of s65 those engines sound godly with a nice set of pipes. I bought a brand new 2023 GLA 45 AMG 10 days ago. 387PS (382Hp)/285KW here in US. I like it a lot, and as a vehicle it is like a Swiss army knife of a car. Still break in period, I have only 340 miles on the clock.:) Hope it is reliable. My first Mercedes.

I too have a 2018 GLA 45 and personally it’s way better than the new GLA 45 in terms of looks and sound. I’m planning on either getting a stage 1 that will bring me to 440hp for $1700CAD, or 550hp for $4200CAD. I’m not sure which one to go for

@@Enzonius a lot. 1st gen CLA had lots of turbo lags and the torque was max at only 2,5k rpm. Same for A class or GLA, everything was fixed after 2016 I Think with the restylings
