Huge respect to all the cars. Golf R is absolute tuner monster, also most affordable. RS3 has our hearts with the iconic 5cyl BMW quick of the line as always. (If the launch control works) A45 AMG you can´t go wrong with. Most powerful production 4cyl ever made and stunning looks.

It's nuts that this tuned golf r has same P/W ratio as an M5 (341/ton vs 340/ton) I would love to see a drag race between this tuned cars to those high performance cars in the previous dyno run video Before anyone tried to claim that you can also tune M5. I know that but my main point is even after those upgrades it was ~50k compared to stock m5

It would be interesting for sure. The benefit of the M5 is that it’s a factory car that’s had far more R&D and testing with hundreds of cars. The Golf isn’t a one off or anything, but it’s still an unfinished product and can have mishaps and whatnot because of it. That’s the downside you *can* have from tuning. Sometimes you’ll never have an issue

N54 or N55? I know the N54 gets a lot of love, but I’ve been looking at getting a 6mt N55 E92. Sounds amazing and all it really needs is a larger turbo like an efr7163 that’ll easily make 500+whp and have better response/spool than the tiny factory turbo. It’s an awesome platform and it doesn’t cost much to modernize the iDrive and to get a high quality digital cluster

Amazing hot hatches and drag race! But Mat, the 8R and RS3 don't have a standalone ECU, they're just remapped factory ECUs. A standalone ECU is a different league as price and performance goes.

I know the RS3 does 11.9 standard, so that tuned one isn’t very good at 11.8, also 11.7 from the golf isn’t very good either. Would expect 11.3(ish) with that power

@@davothegreat9990 thats a 50k-100k build. If you want to dump 60k into the motor for a twin turbo kit the mustang is faster. If you want to dump 2-3k into the motor the Golf is faster.

My car runs 10.9 at 125mph e85 ecu/ tcu tuned by apr and intake, intercooler, endlet, outlet pipes turbo/ intercooler. Stock exhaust. Because it's worthless to change until stage 3 my car is 465hp crank oh ran on sunny day on dws+ all seasons and comparison on 93octane . 412hp crank 11.5 at 118mph

People sleeping on this car will have hurt feelings, lol. Still waiting for the TCU to be unlocked soon before I end up going in another direction. But cars like yours keep me hanging on. Thanks 😎

@@racer247 yea e85 really wakes up the car - and u lucky I have to drive 25 miles to a station with E85 or order it - I mostly run the car on a 93ot. setup - but I'm lucky because I'm one of those that got the car first round so my tcu was tunable :)
