First drive in the 1982 BMW 633csi plus maintenance plans!

Finally getting the ball rolling on the E24. So I inspected the car to see if anything visually needs to be replaced, and then we go for a test drive to see how she drives! Spoiler alert: FANTASTIC!!

this e24 has got to be one of the best classic bmw buys i think i've ever seen. you can find e30s and e34s out there in decent condition sorta like this but for a 40+ year old car that's incredible

PO here, transmission has Red Line in it, may be a receipt from Auto Sport for that. It may have been the same time that the brakes were done. Did you get my email about the parts microfiche that I have for it? Glad you're happy with it.

On a e34 535, I just unbolted the engine mounts & I think a trans mount and you can lift the engine enough to get the pan out & in

So it can be a smaller job than dropping the subframe, not sure how the 6 series are setup, but I’m guessing not that different
