As someone who’s actually been confessed to as a “joke” it is an awful feeling. The feelings of betrayal, humiliation, and the invalidation of your own feelings it’s dehumanizing in a way (Maybe a dramatic take of mine) I’ve always worn my heart on my sleeve and people would take advantage of that ALOT so in the beginning I sympathized with the yandere in some sort of way… then the kidnapping happened and I no longer understood the feelings lmao
