It's more a myth than reality. German cars have nice designs, they're elegant and sporty but they break down often. Especially BMWs, they're notorious for being high maintenance. Makes me proud when people really liking the Individual sound system in the E9X! My stepdad was working as a marketing director of the swedish audio-company Dirac and sealed the deal with BMW back in 2005 and was first used in the E65 if I remember correct. The Dirac technology is like a digital filter that manipulates the sound to as good as the hardware allows it using algoritms.

@zafert859 ай бұрын
Bro that is awesome. I did a retrofit on my E90 2 years ago. The individual audio came from an E92 M3 and I used E91 rear door panels to fit the tweeters also in the rear door panels haha. I have to say that the Individual audio in E9X sounds better than the HK system in the F30 I am driving now. I salute your father.
@SinghM39 ай бұрын
I have the individual audio system in my e92 m3 and I have to say it’s my favorite system the way the bass hits and the subs under the seats is just a spectacular experience of music delivery! It feels like a nightclub in the cabin when I am just cruising and not revving out the s65
@Sms92659 ай бұрын
My e92 m3 came with individual audio. Great audio and bass, really loved it. As is somewhat common in E92s, water seeped in and damaged the amplifier, that eventually took out a sub or two, a couple of speakers (there’s 16 of them all). Didn’t bother replacing any of it. The mechanical noise, induction noise and the exhaust is so good, sounds so exotic all the time it doesn’t matter if these cars didn’t have an audio system at all
@ArthurJGibson9 ай бұрын
HK to individual is easy. Replace every speaker (seats need to be unbolted and tilted), install individual audio amp, code individual amp (simple coding) The difficult retrofit is stock 'hi-fi' to logic 7 or individual as you need to change all the wires. @@sergiu239

My platoon Sergeant had just purchased a 2009 M3 and he called me to come pick him up from the bar. I took a taxi there, he gave me the keys, and then he let me take that beast on the Autobahn, and then on the radio, I heard for the first time that song. Gotta say I'm usually not a fan of black painted rims, but on this M3 configuration, I really thought it was suiting it perfectly, considering the roof is black, the trims too and the kidney grills were black too, it was giving a good contrast with the grey colour. Not really convinced with the rim color and the chrome grills yet, I think this suits "normal" e92 better, but the M3, it has to be aggressive looking in my opinion. Great video, and what a roar.

Thank you for all the work you put in and all the cars you repair, man. This M3 with it's glorious V8 is actually the first car I ever drove when I was 14 with my uncle. It was brandnew and it was even a stick shift and I only drove it for about 3 minutes and never ever pushed the accelerator more than 1/3. But there is something special about this engine, this car, that I will never forget. Someday I want to own this car, or at least drive it for one more time. Keep up the magnificent work, man! You deserve every single bit of the success that you have!

My son and I enjoy watching your videos. Been fans for quite some time now. I have a 2007 M6 V10 coupe w/manual trans. I love the look and performance of the M6 but i have to say your M3 has a mean look and stance. Enjoyed to engine rebuild and the process of engine break in. Keep up the great work.

Yet another amazing episode which I was glued to the whole time. Living in Asia I have not owned a car since 2012 so I live for cars through you! Back in 2000 I had an E31 V12 so your videos help me to live that time over and over.

Excellent informative video. I had my s65 rebuilt 3 months ago, basically a brand new engine. During the break in period it asked for 1 litre of oil, naturally. Had the oil dropped at 1k miles, all good, and 250 miles later she’s asking for another litre.. maybe it’s just part of the bedding in process but thought it was odd to see the alert flag up so soon after the oil change. Dipstick seems to be fine and functional as far as I can see. The joys.

I had a 3 year old, black E92 SE in 2010 with a puny 2-litre engine but every time I parked it, I used to take a minute to enjoy and admire the shape of that car. I really miss that car! 😢

Such a joy to see you so happy Sreten! I know the feeling and anyone who doesn’t own or has never own a bmw either 6cyl or 8cyl have no clue about why we do what we do with bmws and our love for them!

I really thought i hated the silver color - you changed the kidney grills color and it transformed the car - beautiful

Amazing progress with the M3, quality of work/video is incredibly high as always and seeing the car complete is wonderful. Personally this is my favourite project on the channel as it's also my dream car. Cant wait for some more S65 noises soon :)
