I have no idea how that fuel system is working. The e36 has 2 lines that go into the m52 fuel rail, M54 only has one inlet to the fuel rail. Ive only seen people use the m50 manifold and run the m52 rail. This isn't really a simple swap 😅 you'll spend months trying to figure out the wiring and fuel situation

There’s only 1x feed and 1x return line on an e36 or e46, it’s simple either run the m54 fuel rail with an e46/e39 fuel filter with built in fuel reg, or use an m52tu fuel rail with built in fuel reg (not easy to find) I used greshm performance in Australia who makes adapter looms, literally plug and play and he does ews ecu tunes as well.

Are you using the stock e36 exhaust? And what's your radiator setup?

The m52 sensor in the back of the m54 head, however my sensor is toast and it doesn’t work lol

What driveshaft did you use for the swap

Manual 6 cylinder shaft. Came with the manual conversion.

Was it a bolt in swap or did you need different motor mounts and stuff like that ?

Basically bolt in swap. A few things you need to pinch from the m52 if that’s what you are replacing. But other than the wiring I’d say it’s a very simple swap

Hey so my old M52 engine has the 2 fuel lines coming off the fuel rail and my new M54 engine only has 1 what tf do I do to fix the issue

You cut the lines down and you fit an e46 fuel filter they run a “return less” system
