Awesome Jam showing what the M8 can do. "Audio is recorded via USB directly into my Pixel 5" How did you record the audio ? App?

I recorded it using Pixel's default video camera function. When you plug the M8 into the phone, it is detected as an external mic in the settings. That's it!

How were the drum sounds created if not with samples??

All of the drums were made from scratch using the FMSYNTH engine! A solid combination of envelopes and tables to get them to sound just right.
