the paripi actually doesn't have midi input, only sync input, so it's doing its own sequences from patterns that I programmed in

How are you syncing the two? Did you connect the M8 midi out to the sync of the paripi with a standard modular patch cable? And are you feeding the audio from the Paripi back into the M8 audio input?

@@entropyroshan9846 in the video description he lists this as gear used RK-006 Portable USB MIDI/Gate Hub It converts the midi clock out of the m8 into a gate signal. The Paripi will sync to that. I don’t know about his audio path thought. Retro-Kits makes some handy devices.

@@sheepkillindog yup. You’re right. I got the RK-006 now as well. That’s a really handy simple MIDI setup that complements the Paripi and the Pocket Operators nicely with the M8. I’m having an awesome time with this setup. I need a nice portable stereo mixer to go with this. Any suggestions?

Easy to get from their site using translate. Took a couple weeks to get. Now I only need the M8! July can’t come soon enough!
