It's hard to describe, but this masterpiece brings almost instantly happiness and peace of mind as the overall theme changes at 1:30. Before that, the pretty dark sounds remind me of hard times and ugly situations (which can be symbolized as thunderstorms and rainy clouds), but after this mentioned change the song reminds me of good and happy times, in which I could live without worries and just enjoy life (can be symbolized as a sudden stop of raining, sudden shining sun - bringing warmness and bright light). This song can definitely keep up with other top songs composed by M83, for instance "we own the sky" or "wait". Speaking of wait, I can't wait to listen to this song in the future and rewind my time in high school with all the different emotions, which are described by this song - thanks M83!

thank you, this song is one of the few songs that make me jump around like a surexitedt child when I play the vinyl record. And most of the "few others" are also M83 songs. But this album is definitely special. As soon as I listened to it the day it came out, I rushed to a store and bought the vinyl, and listened to it maybe 3 times the same evening.
