+steve styless Hi Steve, i havent tested the MXQ so i would suggest the M8S which is a safe purchase regarding the 5GB is normal as most of the boxes with 8GB with the OS goes back to 5 +- :) Hope it helps. RJ

Some questions: IR remote control is a wireless remote controller too. were you referring that you prefer 2.4GHz remote control or bluetooth? How is Netflix and KZbin performance? Did you try hard resetting the device and running GT Racing 2 to see if the problem is resolved?

Ayham Hamada Hi Ayham, the included remote is IR so the performance is not the best compared with a wireless remote as i have showed on the video. The wireless one that you can buy separate is much better because it will grab the signal even if you dont point it out to the device and it also has airmouse. Netflix we cant use here in Portugal unfortunately and i havent tried the KZbin app. I see no reasons why it shouldnt work but havent tested yet. If i dont reply in a few days remind me so that i can check it. All the Best. RJ

+Juan Acevedo I've got M8S. Is very good, 2GB RAM is good enoguh especially for Kodi (preinstalled), runs flowless. Remote is piece of crap, too slow, useless. But you can use Yatse (free on Google Play) on your mobile phone to solve this problem.

Witch Hunter General​ Thats what i've heard. I just purchased a cheap Rii remote and keyboard devices that works really well. I love Yatse, but i am testing Kore; the new version of the official xmbc app. Looks way better than the old version. Btw, do you use the M8S with a 4K television? O meu M8S chegou hoje, estou tendo problemas com o usb, ao conectar HD ou pendrive o sistema logo começa a ficar todo travando a seta do mouse, fica quase impossivel fazer alguma coisa, então é só desconectar o pendrive ou HD que normaliza.

Maxim Golan So far the RK3288 is the only one he has reviewed with the NEWEST Mali T764 GPU if you are into gaming. The Galaxy S6 only had a Mali T760 so the RK3288 is ahead of the game.

mohammed rasheduzzaman Hi, the gamepads that i tried to play games were the Ipega 9028 bluethooth and the Logitech F710 wireless. Both work. Regarding the full screen, i didnt made any changes to the box settings, but depending on your tv resolution you might want to adjust the screen output size on the configurations. All the best. RJ

A quick question. Would you expect any big difference between 2 boxes having the same chip and same ram? For example, I already have the Instabox with S812, do you think this M8S will be identicl in performance?. Also do you experience the same problem of not being able to find the 4K video option when using the youtube app? Thanks.

+Waleed Almurshidy Hi Waleed, humm the same chip / Cpu will give us the same level of performance +- assuming that the firmware is well integrated in both machines, something that is very important on these devices is not only hardware but the firmware. Also there are some brands using faster storage and others slower which will give us a better experience like using a SSD or a HDD. In terms of Boxes the Instabox Phantom was really nice, but since then i tested a lot more including the M8S which is great at the price. You will not see a huge improvement between the 2 but the M8S looks a bit faster, nothing major though. Yep the youtube app does not allow me to chose any resolution as it used to do in the past. +Carne Frita TV Hi "Carne Frita" (de Vitela, Porco, Perú? :)) no setup necessary, just open the app. Unless your box is not optimized for the game, in that situation you might want to fix with the app "Screen Rotator" and select Landscape for Minions. Hello Jorge, i have a big problem of my M8S. i have many buffering issues when i try to see HD channel 720p. i have try to add cache sizewith easy advanced setting and add cache size to 300 mb= 300*1024*1024= 314572800 bites but nothing. i have 1140 mb of free memory, 20 mb/s of speed connection. i don't know how i can't resolve that problem, i need your help. +Cherif Ngobobo Hi, most of the problems that people face are related to addons, network, etc and not with the box it self. To troubleshoot, use one of your media files either a blueray movie at 1080p or if you dont have you may download Big Buck Bunny or Tears of Steal at 1080p or 4K then place it on a NAS on your network or on a external USB drive and if it plays fine than your box is ok and you will have to see what is wrong with the addons or aps that you are using. +jonca0 Hi Jonca, i always mention the good and bad. Regarding Sound level and dark picture please check your video source. Use a original Blu-ray MKV movie and you will see that both image and audio are perfect. If you dont have any Blu-ray download one of the movie samples that i tested like Big Buck bunny, Tears of Steal or Sintel down below on the description. We cannot blame the box because of the bad quality of the footage :) RJ

+atmotionproductions Hi Paul, they have the same CPU but the Minix has a better built material, faster emmc, support, a huge community around, OTA updates etc that the M8S doesn't have. This doenst mean that the M8S is not good, because it is, but not as good as the X8 H Plus if i can explain my self correctly. It will work as it is, dont expect any updates to the M8S, but as you could see it worked great and still does so if you are on a budget its not a bad choice at all. Hope it helps. RJ

+yhakult Hi, i know that 1 is possible and probably 2 will be also (I have no way of testing and give a 100% sure response) but i guess that they work on the same USB BUS so that means that reading at the same time from both units will decrease performance. Hey Vitor, thanks. It will output 4K at 30 if you have a 4K TV. Netflix only up to SD 480p quality on these boxes that have no proper license. If you need Netflix up to 1080p fo with the Wetek Core Android Tv Box RJ 👍

+Julia Jones Hi Julia, sorry to hear that, unfortunately i dont use genesis or any other addon. To troubleshoot the box i would download a Sintel or Tears of Steal movie sample and place it in a external usb drive and test it to play, if everything works well then you have a bottleneck on your network. If you cant get it working trough usb than there is something wrong with firmware and i would advise to ask for a replacement.

men2m8s men2m8s Use landscape mode on the app settings to enable despicable me to run in landscape. That was all i did. I believe that you are trying for a lot of time now. Do this. Switch the box off, go for a walk, swim, sleep or anything else and tomorrow try with more patience to check the settings of the app so that it can run the game in landscape. Dont take my advise wrong, this is actually what i do when i face a problem that i cant solve and if i keep pushing without patience i will not get it :) RJ
