Very good explanation for the Maha Purushas of the epics.I also participated in Rama Navami and Krishna Jayanthi functions organised jointly by Hindu and Jain Marwadis at Chengalpattu in 1981! Ramanavami and Janmashtami are Central Govt.Holidays and hence Stock Exchange closure,I think.

Confusion personified!!! Jainism and hinduism - there is constant overlap! Rishbatheva the first Tritankara in Jainism is also mentioned Rig veda / Vishnupurana and Bhagawat purana.they were never distinct ! Boundaries have always blurred in all indic religions like buddhism / Hinduism and Jainism! That was the beauty we need to appreciate!that is reason why people like this krishnavel are able to interpret indian history in their own way! Stock exchange / Rama is jain - what stupid interpretation.hindus worship buddha and mahavira and for Jain lakshmi puja is an important festival ! So lakshmi is jain so what .all that is from this great land - india ! Problem with these periyarist is they see religion as Abrahamic religion of one god one book dogmatic concept.Indic religions are liberal and pragmatic and they keep adapting and change to time .what was holy once is no longer now and it may change . Unfortunately psudo intellectuals like our friend Krishnavel will never understand that. Example is manusmrithi - less than one percent of hindus know about that book leave alone follow it.only anti hindu periyarists will read and follow that book! That book is gone damn it - who cares! By the way u mentioned Constantinople .it is a city which is present Istanbul in Turkey .The Roman Emperor u were trying to say is Constantine who was the first Roman Emperor to convert to christianity!He founded that city probably!
