He was trapped in his room? How did they know he was in that hotel? Did he step outside his room and immediately go back to the inside? Were they ranting negatively about Bad Boy? If they knew he was there why didn’t they just bum rush his room? Gene said in the past he had to come get Mase out of a club because they had him trapped in there. What superpower did Gene have that he could do that? Why didn’t anybody out there trying to scare Mase actually do anything to him? Hell Mase came back to LA that same year to promote his album on VIBE(the magazine’s TV show) so obviously he wasn’t scared. The audience cheered him so long they interrupted his interview with Sinbad!! So many unanswered questions.

That’s what happened amongst the artists. The wolves on the streets may have felt differently. I guess everything was cool since you never hear stories of anybody out west trying to assault Bad Boy after Biggie’s death. When I saw Mase on VIBE it just let me know how FAKE the fans were.
