Ma Long is not playing seriously at all. Wälder used to do passive blocks with this backhand. His game is obviously outdated. How can you consider him as the GOAT ? He was good when playing with small balls and hiding serves... Never consider him as the GOAT because of his European Origin
@mattislarsson1831Ай бұрын
Why are you taking this so seriously?
@lucienfantkeАй бұрын
Thank you for admitting you have no idea about table tennis. If you’d actually play you’d know the amount of touch and feel JO Waldner has is just insane. Of course you can’t beat “time”. Balls have changed in size and material. The overall game, paddles, points all have changed. Serves have changed. Does it mean a prime Jo wouldn’t have any chance against Ma Long? I don’t think so. Those would be incredible matches. Why don’t you relax, learn, and appreciate those two goats giving us some enjoyment? I pity you 😂
@leitwolf70Ай бұрын
@@lucienfantke No one is interested to discuss, if Waldner would win against Ma Long in his prime. You can´t compare the styles. Waldner, Persson, Appelgren, Samsonov and a few more were ahead with the top chinese players for many years. Waldners had a highly variety playing style and no one could predict his next move. When Waldner was in his "tunnel" he destroyed everybody. His variation of spin, his blocking style, his efficiency to move the opponent was unique. One fact is undisputed: Waldner would be still legend in 100 years, I doubt Ma Long would be, cause there will be a lot more chinese players with similar success and dominance.
@amirsharoniАй бұрын
Waldner himself said that he was probebly the best with the smaller ball, and Ma long was the best with bigger ball, whan playing different game you can not compare
@containternet9290Ай бұрын
@@leitwolf70 The Chinese almost always beat Waldner in major tournaments since the mid 80's. Waldner is still regarded as the best European player because all other European players that followed him were bad or just average while great Chinese players emerged one after another over time.

Bobrow doesn’t understand how to respect these gods of the sport. It’s pretty funny actually. Entertaining to say the least. He acts like he’s friends with pro’s but the level difference in achievement and skill level in the chosen fields is astronomical, yet he acts like he’s on their level. It’s crazy. All the pros he interacts with know it, but he can’t seem to get it right. Would make a fun pong party night host at the local club though with no name players for sure. Shouldn’t be allowed to interact with the elites in my opinion. He doesn’t show respect.
@ongnarukami4451Ай бұрын
Its cool.

What a nonsense...Bobrow is commentator and respected for his endeavours for promoting tabletennis in a nice and funny way. He is a good ambassador.
@oblarski2478Ай бұрын
Bro you have to be ragebaiting right? So because someone is better at a given thing you are not allowed to interact with them?
@TableTennisMediaАй бұрын
Agree, he's very annoying. An Asian or European guy would fit better as the voice of table tennis. Americans always just fool around and fake most of their emotions.
@patrickyaoАй бұрын
Bro what... Bobrow is one of the most known commentators in table tennis and commentated some of the biggest matches in the last decade. He also personally knows all those players and have shot videos with them years ago. They're almost like friends. I don't know your logic here.
