The Indy movement NEEDS to start producing simplified leaflets that explains how MMT would work practically for an independent Scotland. That there is no such thing as 'the national debt' that it is merely money currently circulating in the economy. The difference between state banking (MMT) and central banking (money released at debt). The smart designer people in the independence movement could easily produce leaflets that would get this across. How does it relate to pensions? MMT states that they can be far far better by releasing the needed money into the economy which is then immediately circulated by the pensioners into the wider LOCAL economy and thereby benefiting everybody.

If Brexit was not a big Deal to The Torie's, Then Scotland can go ahead and Apply to Join The Single Market, have free movement, and Scotland will Take the Euro.

We should join the EU but not go into the Euro. That would be using someone else's currency and that would be a very bad idea.

Setting up a central bank simply needs legislation passed in government that is currently controlled by another country. If we don't have the full powers of our own government then we cannot do this. Independence is the only way to get this. If we have the full powers of a normal government then we can do this.
