Wonder if it was an ocean fish coming home a little early or dipping in to feed. Just got back from Tofino bc and hooked some nice ones, released a big 6ish lb wild

What depth should I target MA 9 chinook in July/august?

They can be suspended or down near the bottom! Look at the bait. The marks on the screen. And always have one presentation within 5 ft of the bottom

@@PNWBestLife I just got a boat a few weeks ago and I’m looking forward to learning how to fish the salt. I think resi coho in MA10 might be a good place to start.

Jumping Chinook spiraling if you are lucky enough to see when adult Chinook are going upriver to spawn, incredible behavior!

Oh yeah! I always see it in the river, but whole feeding on bait in the ocean?!? Is a new one for me!
@ronward39496 ай бұрын
@@PNWBestLife yes they ten to turn in circles or spiraling as they jump!

Feels bad when you have to “sort” through the closed chinook to get the coho. I mean, fun to fight them but….

Exactly! They better be here on July 18!
