I think ARR & SaNa compositions can actually go neck & neck! Both are just doing incredible work from indian film composers right now. Hope SaNa does more compositions in Majjaa. As we have Sri Lankan or eelam tamils also it's an official language in Lanka and Singapore. So when you say Tamil it's not just indian diaspora. Also tamils consider they are citizen of the world and take pride in their identity (Tamil) more than nationality (doesn't mean they don't take pride in it). We have strong associations with our language as it's the oldest living language so when all other old languages died and Tamil alone still exists you shld realise that's because of the love of the language. So yeah it's a bit overpowering.
