Kyidomhene is a historian and a good orator but today my expectations of him crushing UTI Daawa with his sources and years of history was not met but aside it all, you did a good job. Keep on fighting hard for the liberation of African enslaved minds, through programs like this, I have been enlightened and gained much knowledge in who I truly represent. UTI Daawa, it is only today that I have really loved your submissions, this means that, you are really learning, I loved your level of comportment, and I know that though to some of us, you said Islam is peace but we never liked it because of how almost all the youth are highly rebellious in Islam especially when the Quran is mentioned or touched wrongly, making me ask, what is the essence of the Quranic God, if he can not fight for himself but has to let his youth kill each other for him? And so, I had always asked our myself, what is actually in that religion that almost every youth has a sort of rebellious behaviour, but, now some of the likes of you, Hafiz and a few youth that I have listened to them have made me understood that, you are also really working on your behavioural change. Keep it up and take your time to explain your religion unprovocatively like this and we will understand you better. To Maame Grace, keep it up with some of such debates like these, we are really learning, a time is coming that, a Muslim and a christian/traditionalist can get married and still live happily with each one believing in what he/she believes. Religion dividing people of the same decent is what you are discouraging gradually, Good work done. But for some of us, we have known that our ancestral worship is the best and so, that is what we are following until the creator calls us.

Kyidomhene has earned my respect even though he was trying to tease our beloved prophet by calling the first wife of our Prophet Khadijah a “suga mommy” but later on he retracted that. Now let’s analyze the debate. Kyidomhena made many falsehood claims and could not even provide a single source or evidence where we the viewers can also learn from, yes I’m a Muslim but if you give me concrete evidences to tell me why being a Muslim is wrong why not but yet no sources so I personally debunks kyidomhene’s claims. President of UTI DAAWA responded to any claim with sources and evidences and was perfectly reasonable to adapt, he left no claim behind but perfectly answered all questions from the host Maame Grace herself. What UTI is saying attests to the fact that religion is a universal thing. By mentioning Adam, Noah, Abraham and Jesus, it seeks to say that the messenger/ prophet translates it based on his background. Because I have never heard how the people he mentioned practiced Islam. They submitted to God(Islam) in their own way. In the same vein, the traditionalist can argue they’re also doing same thing. Reminds me of something a panelist said on this show that it’s an energy and that the distinguishing factor is the medium connecting to it.

In my opinion, religion, just like politics is a human institution: an attempt to prompt human beings to remain prominent in VIRTUE by way of LAW or COMMANDMENTS and PUNISHMENTS accordingly, in order to bring ORDER or CONTROL into society over time and space. Treating creation with respect or dignity, (which includes the primates, the air we breath, the water we drink, the land, the trees and all animate and inanimate things) has its primacy in spirituality rather than religion, because it is a given: One does not need a reference from any HOLY BOOK in order to confirm an action s/he is about to take, (such as taking a human life) is a sin, but our conscience which is innate, prompts same. We are born SPIRITUAL but brought up RELIGIOUS. The latter is NURTURE but the former remains in NATURE. There is a higher logical certainty that The CREATOR would appreciate, or reward, if you can, whoever respected and protected who and what HE created, by preserving them to serve its intended purpose (which translate into SUBMISSION to HIM in practice), than whoever "worshipped" HIM "devotedly", yet destroyed HIS handiwork or creation following the statutes of a religion. Just like The CREATOR, spirituality does not change, but can same be said about religion? I find it hard to understand the argument made in certain religious submissions that latter day prophets came to "PERFECT" earlier religious practices known and believed to have been handed down to us by ALL KNOWING and PERFECT GOD. Another issue I try to understand is, why is it that many Christians and Muslims mostly adopt names associated with the supposedly "origin" of their religion, rather than maintaining their native names? Are we not being manipulated by religion to appreciate others cultures, and be indifferent to our own? Does spirituality care about what name one carries? If not, why not?

This is one of the most interesting debates i have seen. Kyedomhene can sound intentionally ignorant to the less humorous when he uses terms like “sugar mummy “ I don’t think this trait is healthy for the sensitive nature of these conversations. NB, lots of wars resulted in many lost lives caused by religious tension. Lets be cautious. Lastly, We are humans. We cannot debate things of the spirits. The spirit of God gives us all our beings but it is to support one another and continue with creation. Love is all that is needed. It is the true religion. While you guys are enlightened and can hold educated arguments, you fail to realize the true impact which is division between the lot because unfortunately, the majority of the population are simply incapable or lack the ability to develop their own compass to live. Lets love and stop all the looks of war.
