Means in Kenya, always raise the building to some significant height when setting up your foundation, not to be 100% safe but at least you minimize the risk of being drowned with family at 3 a.m. it is evident buildings with a strong foundation and constructed on raised grounds are mostly safe. A place like Nairobi was historically a swamp, and largely flat all over.
