anyone copying this: do *NOT* use pre-shredded cheese for your mac, it has that weird powder that separates the shreds and it makes it taste all grainy and gross. shred it yourself and it'll taste fucking amazing. learned this the hard way

This is SO TRUE! Apart from the cheese that goes right on top before going in the open, if you use preshredded cheese for that you get the crispy and non greasy top! I was always a complete snob about preshredded cheese, but that’s the one use where I think it works better than regular cheese.

A noted story is that a man did not say Bismillah before eating and it was as if he wasn't eating at all. He kept getting hungry and ate more and more, until he said Bismillah and became full. This is the importance of Bismillah and why we say it, and I commend the guy in the vid for saying it, he is an inspiration for Muslims who are too shy to express themselves out of fear of being shut down by people like you.

This is just like my momma's and grandmommas recipe! Of course it's a classic and ALWAYS a delicious croud pleaser! Never fails! Recently though, I've found recipes that mix the drained noodles with butter and 4 oz of sour cream per pound of dry noodles. When cool add 1/4 of your shredded cheese. Then in separate bowl make a custard type filling by whisking eggs, salt, pepper, garlic, ground mustard (basically wtfe seasonings you like) , and either whole milk OR half and half (which I use) OR heavy cream. Then butter the baking dish. Place a layer of the noodle mixture. Then a layer of the shredded cheese. Then a heavy drizzle of the custard type mixture. Repeat like you're making lasagna. Top with rest of cheese and bread crumbs and/or shredded parmesan cheese if you'd like. Bake until golden and bubbly. LET ME TELL YOU THAT THUS RECIPE BLOWS MOMMAS OLD SCHOOL ROUX RECIPE OUT OF THE WATER!!! PLZ TRY AND MAKE A VIDEO IF YOU LIKE IT! (The recipe is not mine at all. Rather, found online mostly from USA southerners and they're obv doing something right!)
