Okay, That's the router feature you can bind the MAC. By default most of the router devices enabled with DHCP. Before ISP's used to provide access based on MAC filtering/binding. ISP provides one Public IP address and when local devices Ex: Mobiles,TVs,Tablets and more will get internal IP address provided by router DHCP scope.

@@haidermir9663 In a large scale MAC binding is a TDS job to do. However each hardware vendor has there sequence. If you take sumsang or dell they start with particular series.

Yes, you can also do for Network device as well. However most of the Network devices IP's given manually.

You have changed the Mac address with another Mac address.. so where to get another Mac address.

Get the MAC address from the server which you wanted to bind

This is not binding. User cannot change ip address when using mac-binding.

Ofcourse that's mainly MAC-binding it used for not changing IP address. In a scenario where you want assign static IP address to particular server.
