Hi Sue - interesting as I hadn't even heard of these but I am curious now. I tried the Mac shadow combinations you have suggested in other videos and thought they worked really well together so I will give this info good consideration if I am tempted to purchase. Cheers xo

Thanks, Sue. I've been keen to see this one in action. I was supposed to go and see them in store today, but I got waylaid at the Chanel counter and spent all my money on a Chanel quad instead. I'll try again next week, as I really would like to see these palettes for myself.

Do go in store and swatch them first if you can. I bought mine online. I've read varying reviews, unfortunately no one has raved about these!

@@Fifty-sense Shall do. I was so excited at their launch. The colour stories are so everyday friendly, yet pretty. I really did expect to see more people review them. But as you say, it has been rather quiet.

I’ve been eyeing up this pallet but maybe Rock chick by Charlotte Tilbury is better ? We have the same colouring except my hair is grey .

We don't get CT here in South Africa, so I can't compare. But if you have a choice, I would say go for the CT. The Mac palette was a little disappointing.

The blue-grey evening shade looks fantastic on you! Noticed one of their palettes had a maroon red/brown brick shade….ewww. Still waiting for that color to go out of fashion…

Hehe. The palette you would love is called "Flame" me thinks. It's full of all those reds and oranges we both despise! 😂😂😅

If I had a cosmetic company and I re-formulated my items I would make the colours matched old ones ! If they don't then do not call them the same name. I don't buy the "oh, we have new ingredients.... so we cannot" ..... I think they can but its too much work and that means too much time/money. You still did a great job and you looked lovely but those companies know people are loyal to their products and especially the colour of eyeshadows, foundations, blushers etc. Rant over ! lol

I totally agree with you. Mac are not in any position to take chances. There's so much competition out there. I honestly thought this new launch would be like Huda beauty quality.
