Starting with the "Oh honey don't let me see you crying" the first chord is a Dmaj7 (fretted like a Cmaj7 with the capo) which Mac embellishes with a dominant 7 by fretting the third fret of the g string. The next chords are a straight forward Db minor (or maybe Db minor7) and a F#minor (fretted like an Eminor with the capo). Mac then plays a D6 and embellishes with the major seventh before returning to E7 (fretted like a D7 with the capo).

The progression repeats. The second time, after the D6 and the embellishment, there is a D9 chord (fret a d bar chord at the 10th fret and then move your pinkie to the 12th fret of the high e string), then a C#m7 chord (a the 9th fret), and finally a Bm7 chord (at the 7th fret). From there the song either goes to the outro or returns to the verse.

I've figured out a bit of the song just playing by ear. The first chords is (from big E to little e with the capo on the second fret) X64222. The next one is 554222. Then the picking part is pretty easy to figure out by ear, but fuck me if that chorus isn't tricky to figure out. I sort of made up my own thing that sounds like it, but I can hear that it isn't quite right.

Well, two things. No whammy pedal; they're just pushing the neck and forcing the strings to go slightly out of tune momentarily. Secondly, it is standard, but capo'd on the 2nd fret, so it's essentially in F#.
