Mac Dre "Back N Da Hood" - is some of his real shit... That song is the very first song to be recorded from prison/ jail over the phone... He is talking about howhe got framed for bank robbery and dissing the cops and Detectives on his case calling them out by name...... Another one is "Punk Police" this song was used in trial to convict him of bank robbery.. this song is the reason why the cops framed him for bank robbery cause he was dissing the whole Vallejo Police department... Even the police knew mac dre was innocent but they thought if they put the pressure on him he would snitch on his friends who were the actual bank robbers. But Mac Dre kept his mouth shut and went to federal prison for crimes that he didn't commit... Thats why he has so much respect in the Bay

West Coast is different, this is Bay Area, they do it a Lil different. Mac Dre was a legit Mac he dealt women, and Thizz (Ecstasy). E40 gleamed a lot of style from Mac Dre, after he passed. There's more of a party vibe to Bay Area. One of the most unique and funky styles period.
