I loved this video because I like Mac shadows a lot. I saw that they lower the price online so I started to put an order and this video helped me add other shadows! All that glitters was my third shadow I got from Mac is one of my fav!!!!! I think this eye look is stunning on you and the way you did your hair is fantastic. I don't own a single Mac shadow. But I have to say, thanks a lot Chelsea, lol, because I just ordered an entire collection worth of shadows!!! Question for you. What I'd your opinion of the Mac palette? I'm gonna have all these pans and I can't decide whether to get a Mac palette (with or without the insert?) or a Z-palette.

+Bestany I hands down prefer a z palette. However, MAC's palettes are made for their shadows because of the way the magnet is so ....I guess that isn't any help LOL

My favorite color of all time is actually not much of a color its Blanc Type which is a Matte Squared (best formula of all time IMO). I've purchased probably 8 - 10 of them...use them on clients too. On my skin tone (ghost with a slight tan) it acts like an eraser...great blending color and also great as a brow bone highlight. My other favorite is Copperplate (another Matte Squared) its like a dusty grey. I Love ALL the Matte Squared...I think there are 7 or 8 of them...SO GOOD!!!!

When M.A.C lowered their single eyeshadows down to $8.00 (Canadian) it was definitely in their best interest. They obviously seen all these makeup brands releasing single eyeshadows all within the same time frame. Most of those eyeshadows where priced *ATLEAST* 50% cheaper then theirs...*AND* those much less expensive eyeshadows not only offered more interesting shade options with all the duochrome, metallic, and foiled finishes that M.A.C knew they just *could not* (and still do not) compete with; but the majority of these $5.00 range eyeshadows beat them in pigmentation too! I believe M.A.C knew if they continued to keep their single eyeshadow pans priced so high, they just wouldn't sell anymore. With so much competition on the market now (not to mention all the indie makeup brands selling single pan eyeshadows now too...and often larger than M.A.C's 26mm pans) they really had no choice...If they wanted to continue selling single shadows, that is.

I loved this. Thanks for letting us know about the price decrease! That is weird to say! Do you happen to have Mac Bliss? I think it is older and probably discontinued. I would pay $20 for that one shadow. It is the only shadow I actually used up and I miss it. Similar to All that Glitters but better. I emailed Mac on Tuesday to ask if we were getting the discounts too in the UK and to ask if we are also getting Mac 'select' - they promise to reply in 48 hours but, they've not yet replied :/ . I've just checked and they're still $15 for the pan and $19 for the eyeshadow in the little compact ...... xxx

I was surprised when I got the email from MAC stating that their shadows had gone down to $6...shocked actually. I thought it was a joke, lol. i went to their site (US) and sure enough, they were 6 bucks O.O I guess Makeup Geek, ColourPop, all the Indie folks making eyeshadow and regular folks making their own eyeshadows has cut into MAC's biz, forcing them to lower their prices. Competition is a Good Thing :D

Yikes that's expensive!!! Hopefully they go down a bit. MAC Canada eyeshadow pans were $12 and now hey brought them down to $8 I think the ones in the case have stayed the same at $19(I'll be sticking to the pans obvi). Not quite as good as the US but I'm not complaining!! I really hope you guys get some kind of discount too!
