So, as a 63 year old man, I've been happy with most everything EXCEPT the under-eye luggage I've acquired, which I've named Louis (right side) and Vuitton (left side). Along with the luggage is a definite darkening of that lovely purple-ish tone. I think, based on this tutorial) I will try the Mac full coverage. Here's hoping, eh?

Skin prep is useful for this. Use a hyaluronic acid serum like CosRX's or the ordinary's before applying anything on top. It'll help minimize creasing, which often happens when that skin gets too dry. Potentially good options for you at various price points would include ELF's cc camo cream, tarte's illuminating concealer wanna, and professional cream foundations like mac full coverage, rcma, and cinema secrets. They're more pigmented than the other options, which means you'll need less product to cover what you want to. That means it'll wear better and not look heavy or obvious.

Mac is just Wonderful! Thank you for another lovely video! While I was pleased with my 40's...my picture here is from 4 years ago at 46... I cant say the same exactly for how I feel about my 50th year. Thank you! I needed that. I'm almost 60 & I have colored my hair for 25 years because it has been 80%gray then & now completely gray. But this year I have let it go natural. It's wonderful to not have to color @ 2-3 weeks, but I have to fight the feeling of "old lady". The creapie eyes. The battle in my head between wisdom & frustration is a regular occurrence. I love every wrinkle, groove, scar and discoloration I have on my face, so much so that I don’t cover it up with foundation of any kind. I do my makeup on a foundationless face, and I love it! I had a black eye recently. I’m a makeup artist and I was able to cover it (thank you too faced born with it concealer!) but had to wear heavy full coverage foundation to match the coverage on my coverup job. I turned straight to my Mac studio fix powder. It was BEAUTIFUL! Especially with a glowy setting spray on top. Gorgeous. Not for everyday for me, but for full coverage makeup looks- it is a serve! @@elizabethm7163 I have used it lightly buffed on with a glowy setting spray and yes it’s beautiful that way too. MAC will always have a special place in my ❤️ because I worked as an artist before all these brands released all these vibrant palettes every other day! I used to have to go to the Mac Pro store on Robertson to get bright reds and greens and yellows to use for editorial work. Mac is the OG.

I'm 38 and take excellent care of my skin, I'm usually actives in my skincare , use sun screen religiously and have just booked a consultation for my first ever botox and lip fillers, so we will see how it all goes!

You were right about RCMA. its perfect. They are so helpful. You use little. It covers fully and feels like nothing. It’s doesn’t move. Like a cream/liquid. Thanks for that tip. I can see why you love it. Haven’t tried the concealer yet as I have the Sisley under eye which is brilliant for the eye ! Still need to get a concealer but not sure whether to get a lighter shade or same shade of RCMA. Hope you feel well soon!

I have used Clinique’s Continuous Coverage for 30+ yrs and it’s been discontinued (Big time Boo Clinique!). This is a concealer or what I believe these days would be a color corrector at least that’s how I used it. A couple of dots under each eye would cover my entire face evening out my complexion wonderfully. Now, I just can’t find go to product. I have several products by Mac so I guess I am going to have to try it. Thank you for sharing. I think you are a very handsome man and agree totally with you on aging and giving one character. Blessed to be on this side of the earth and still kicking even on the crumby days.

if this is the one that originally came in a bullet/stick form.. it was my foundation of choice till they either discontinued it, or repackaged it or just simply didn't stock it at my local Mac counter. If I could go back to this I would in a heartbeat. At the moment its out of my pricerange but its a STUNNING product. And I wholeheartedly agree, I had horrific acne coming out of highschool where I first started wearing makeup and it covered everything without being heavy without looking cakey. Back then I didn't contour but if given the chance now its the perfect medium for exactly that, three shades used like you did and gorgeous finish. Also, on aging.. I'm on the its ok, its beautiful, embrace it side of aging.. I have grey hairs that are silver against my rich brown to light brown hair and I've had neices, cousins all suggest yanking them out or getting them colour covered and I'm like, A, nobody is yanking my hair out and B, they are MY greys, C if I want to colour my hair it wont be because I'm wanted to hide my greys, it'll be because I'm bored and have always wanted to do something fun but hands off the greys... LOL.. and on the botox and stuff.. if its something someone wants to do, great its a personal choice so why shouldn't they but for me, the laugh lines, and other aging signs just are a map to someone's life story and journey and some are just gorgeous because of it, they're inner beauty shines through in those 'tells' so live, and let live.. shouldn't we?

I will be 60!! next month. I look younger because, despite growing up in Southern California in the 70’s, I stayed out of the sun. 😎 I have rosacea now and it’s just a light red all over my cheeks. Nothing except full coverage will get rid of it and I don’t want to wear full coverage because it settles into my fine lines. I use Charlotte Tilbury’s Healthy Glow tinted moisturizer on your recommendation. Love it. I’m happy to get older but feel the aches & pains more now. 😎😎😎

Makeup really is a lot of work and people don't seem to admit that! I think even minimal makeup makes such a huge difference on my face but anything more than that takes me so much time and it really does get tedious! Thank goodness I don't leave the house every day anymore because when I used to I really felt like even light makeup took me so long to do!

Hi Wayne, thanks for the great video even though you are poorly!, I for one am grateful for the gift of aging. I have many reasons for this but it is a gift!, I have felt the pressure a few times to get botox etc but I just concentrated on skincare, my friends have had a few things done and each to their own but I think I would feel claustrophobic to be honest, plus as you said I like to see my skin and face move, I like the lines I have and I keep out of the sun and just try my best. Never say never but I am proud to look how I look without 'work'. You look fabulous. Get yourself to bed and be comfy. ❤️
