The X-1 was carried in the Bomb Bay Belly, not on the Wing like the X-15

Quite so! I think the only X Plane hung on the wing of a B-29 (or B-50) was the X-7 which was hung between #1 & #2 engines.

Imakeitworst is right. Yeager got into it from inside the B-29 the later ones were dropped from the outside. Just google it.

That was Amazing!! I saw it loose a wheel and the crash of the test plane but the B29 pulled the airshow out of the can! Well done! Is there any large scale B52's out there with a X15 test plane that would be bad as hell too! Well any of the other Lifting Body planes? I take it all back Excellent video!!!!!

R/C chemtrails? Harlan,that monster doing those things isn't normal,it has a lot of power, and if a good microwave hit's the receiver the plane is a gonner and for the driver to loose that much money and hard work might be the making of a heart attack.

Beautiful B29, but the X1 "carry" is hardly realistic or authentic. Especiallyt since it looked like it was about to fall off during take off!! The X1 (flown by Chuck Yeager) was carried half way INTO the modified belly of the B29, as the pilot - Yeager - entered the X1 from inside the B29 during the accent to altitude. It really wouldn't been hard to be accurate in the building of the B29 for this. Lose 2 stars for total scale concept inaccuracy
