Mac had many different styles of rapping, the dude switched his flow up so many times to fit different genres within rap & he would sing on top of all that, the dude was ways ahead of most artists in the same field, it's sad how slept on he really was, mac always had a loyal fan base but man so many people just thought of him as just another rapper, he was one of the first artists to make it big on youtube right before social media really took off & now all these new artists have all those other platforms they can use to put music out, it's easier now, mac worked his ass off too get where he was & you can see the progression in this music, every new album/mixtape sounded different, I just wish this dudes found a way to get sober, listening to this best day ever mixtape has a whole new meaning to it now (for me) it's sad hearing him talk about growing old & telling all the neighborhood kids his story, but he never got to get to that point & seeing him young & happy in this video is hard af for me to watch, this dude was my favorite rapper, just damnn

i was never a mac miller fan but i love earl and vince's music, trying to explain, mac was like that friend of a friend that is not really your friend, but you really like him. you're not used to hangout with the dude when is just the two of you, but you still have great memories with him, and you keep sayng to yourself that one day you gonna be closer to the guy. and then, he dies. i don't know why, but his death is getting on me more than i would've imagine. i think is time for me to get a good listen to his work. good rest mac

dude i literally felt the same way. he always had dope features with earl vince and T but i never really dove into his shit until after he pased. I saw SWIMMING drop and I didn't even feel like listening to it. He passed and I listened to it and fucking broke down at work in the bathroom crying. I can't believe I slept on this man so hard. I've already heard most of his projects by now Faces & Delusional Thomas being my favorite so far. I'm saving WMWTSO for when I can roll a fucking fat backwood by my lonesome and slap it with good quality headphones and Rap Genius.. but I will say hearing The Star Room now? it's haunting.
