I miss this era, I know it was only 4 years ago but the whole 2010s wave of hip hop with TDE, OF, Mac Miller, Action Bronson, A$AP Rocky, all mashing and collabing. There was something about that wave.

I fucking miss this type of hip hop with a passion. I wish OF was still a thing. I missed it completely and I have been trying to catch up ever since tyler dropped flower boy. When I first heard that shit, it blew me away. And then I dug deeper, listening to older albums like goblin. And then I looked into earl's albums. Fuck man I wish I knew about this when it was popping.

Septemberish 2013 spotify pushed Hive by earl through my notifications. I'd never been captivated like that before. Vince and Earl are prolly two of the most talented upcoming rappers in the game at this moment especially compared to their age. IC3BProductions Vince is the opposite of fake, he seems so real in all his interviews and shit. also gangs take in young teenagers all the time. like 14 yrs
@proletariategg10 жыл бұрын
IC3BProductions I've known people that were born into gang life. It's an everyday thing in St.Louis, even still. People flaunt that lifestyle. I've grown up around gang members that started bangin at like 10-12, doin dirt. I started doing dirty shit when I was 10-12, and I wasn't even apart of a gang, although I hung out with numerous. I've changed my whole perspective and outlook on life, because I'm a grown up now. But gangbanging at those ages, is more than common. People die in Chicago everyday at that age to gang violence. And I'm not gonna say it doesn't happen in my city too. Or the next mans. Shit like that is all too common.

Earl and vince are so ahead of their time it's ridiculous . They make a better rap duo or whatever you wanna call it than earlwolf . This was a well put together video . 👍

UA illest duo right now. relax.

Yeah back when I liked odd future a lot and didn't really care about other artists i wanted that earl wolf sound. But for now I'm focused on earl and vince (and other artist coming up) Because they can actually rap. Sorry guys for the comment but its something that was on my mind when I watched this.

Capital steez is ahead of his time he's a legend and his music is addicting no one has a better perspective and what's sad is that steez died before he made it big he was a god with word play and it's like joey badass lost his brother in arms so now pro era don't sound right but they will make it but it will never be the same with out capital steez-R.I.P KING CAPITAL

Man, I think everyone can relate to some of what Vince says on some level, but you don't truly understand how deep he's really being about the shit, unless you've been through shit like that... He's not lying. "My mothers just as fucked up as me."

I appreciate the honesty of what these dudes are doing. This is what I've been waiting for in hip hop. These guys were brave enough to be honest. They're brave enough to be themselves. Ive never met these guys, but i am proud of them for having the courage to be themselves in front of the world through hip hop. Im proud to see that they've purified hip hop all over again. They were brave enough to not hide behind the shroud of violence being all that we as black people are capable of conveying through our music. They are brave enough to change something.
