Just finding this gem in 2021. Been a big fan for a long time. He's always reminded me that we are all the same at our core... When I thought he was about to do Nas' verse and just did his own from 1 Threw 8, I laughed and almost broke down. Still can't believe that he isn't making any more music. But, in a sense, he will never die. He's alive in his songs, and in all of us. He's the voice inside your head that tells you to chase your dreams and follow your passions. That it's okay to fall down, as long as you get back up. Keep pushing, people. You'll get there eventually. And even if you don't, at least you can say you tried.

It's crazy. I heard this song for the first time today. I listen to Mac Miller probly everyday and only today did I realize I will never get to see this man perform live, I will never get to meet him. I knew he was dead but now I know that I missed him and all my chances of seeing him, that saddens me. I knew this before but after listening to this I realized that I missed one of my favorite artists, who somehow connected w a person he's never seen or heard through lyrical and musical ability to the point where I'm in tears thinking about the opportunities I had that I didn't take.
