Just because someone has something to say that you don't like, or opinions that you don't agree with, doesn't mean that you can tell them not to watch, not to comment, or anything for that matter. This is KZbin, and a free country. Just because one does not agree with someone, doesn't mean they cannot watch their videos. It really amazes me the amount of intolerance here in KZbin comments when people have differing opinions, or ideas of what is fact or not. Anyone can watch any videos, by anyone, whether they agree or not. You have no right to tell them otherwise. I don't agree that he promotes anyone who pays him, like Mercedes said, but it is still unfair the way that you have just reacted to what she had to say. If YOU don't agree with Mercedes, feel free to say so, and share your opinions on the matter, or what you believe to be fact, and move on.

A few important questions that didn't get answered: how was the staying power through the day? Does it control oil at all? Should we not use a beauty blender if it's too liquid? Is there flash back because of all the spf?

+Somegirl101 titanium dioxide alone does not not cause flashback. It's when it's combined with zinc oxide that flashback occurs. Also when silica or mica are high on the ingredient list. That's why some non-spf products cause flashback as well

I've been wearing the smash box one for a few weeks now. Never noticed flash back in any photos. I have normal skin and feel like I don't need any powder with it, even where I get a bit oily. If you are oily then go ahead and set it just for reassurance. Otherwise, It lasts I'd say....6-8 hours of normal wear. If you're touching your face a lot, sweating, etc then less. It is really great and natural looking. Love it!

Also I find a brush is best. If you want, run a beauty blender over your face once it has been put on with a brush just to take off any excess product. Xo

+Aysia King Face and Body has a film former inside of it that makes it water and transfer resistant. It also isn't advised to apply Face and Body with a brush; it was meant to be applied with fingers. I think just the weight and feel is similar, but the performance aspect is very different.

Great review! I just bought this foundation a few days ago and I love it! It's so lightweight and easy to apply. I did see the new Smashbox water bb cream and considered trying it, but I didn't realise it was more expensive and that they're sister companies. I'm so glad I bought the cheaper version for the same thing!

I purchased this foundation two weeks ago and wore it the entire time I took a trip to New Orleans. I was so impressed with the way it stayed on during the humidity and how natural it looked! It is definitely similar to Face and Body in the way it applies and feels - I think it has a bit more coverage. Overall I am loving it!

I got this one recently! It's a bit strange with the pipette. I like how it feels very light and watery, but not so much the coverage. It does work great with a Mac Pro concealer! =)

I didn't know MAC owned SmashBox. I do not care for SmashBox products. I'm kinda over MAC the people at their counters are incredibly rude and act as if they are makeup gods, when in fact they are mostly subpar makeup artist, and really are nothing more than sales associates. I've been brand loyal to MAC since 1998, and I have started using other products in the last year, and will eventually stop using all their products.

I'm not really fussed about MAC foundations overall but this one has peaked my interest! Looks very nice on the skin as opposed to the cakey heavy look a lot of the others have given in my experience (with the exception of face & body!)

the smashbox and Mac appear to be the same but for me the Mac wore a little longer and the few extra ingredients that Mac added worked better with my combo skin.

Haha I love how u ended IT! I been wanting my foundation to look like skin with a yellow undertone, I have so many foundations And still not able to get the desire look, and my acme scare in my cheek start to show. But all the foundations I tried end up just looking like a lot of foundation on my skin, I really want that duey look but with coverage, I recently bought the estee lauder double wear but still not thrill. Thank you for using the #13 brush to apply a liquid foundation. It usually sits in my brush belt. I don't use a lot of powder foundations on clients and I never thought to use it to buff in liquids. Thank you. Btw I ordered your eyebrow brushes and can't wait until they arrive!

i got this just recently when i was in the airport because my old foundation (naked by urban decay) finished (after two years!) and im really happy with this product. Its so amazing It doesnt even look like anything is on the skin

So I was really excited when you said that the Smashbox was an exact dupe as it's given me hope regarding their shade range! I'm a fan of both MAC and SmashBox, and I recently heard that the difference is that MAC products are more mineral/natural based ingredients whereas SmashBox is silicone based.. Don't know if this is true, but both work well for my skin

I got a sample of this and I really didn't enjoy it! I love face and body, have used it for ages! But the coverage of the new foundation is next to nothing, I found it extremely hard to build up any layers without it going patchy and it didn't last on my skin which is combination to dry. The girl also matched me to at least 1 shade too light but nothing a bronzer couldn't fix. I would highly recommend getting a sample of this before buying it! Plus the little sample bottles are really cute!

This was actually the first foundation i ever wore. I wanted to know what shade I was in MAC for reference to buy foundation in the future but I happened to go on the day this was released and they gave me a sample. Even without having anything to compare it to, i love it.

I have this foundation and it's THE BEST! I got really oily skin and with other foundation I have to touch up after an hour, but with this Mac one I can go up to 4-5 hours before I get oily!

I got this for my birthday, and I just love it! My skin isnt perfect, i have a lot of red scars from old pimples and i had a kind of an infection once in my face, that every little cut, pimple etc started to get really ugly and ugh... Anyways, this covers almost every single one of those. Only the darkest scars are showing, so i just cover them with some concealer. And i hate, I MEAN HATE the foundations that give you a really thick look even with just one layer. But this gives the most perfect feeling to my skin!

Estee Lauder owns both Mac and Smashbox...the foundation is made and then filled into Mac and Smashbox bottles. they do exactly the same with the Smashbox primer water and the Mac charged water.

I picked up a bottle of Waterweight from duty free at the weekend; I love the formula and finish but I do however find the pipet quite messy. If you're not careful it will spill around the opening of the bottle. It also advises you to drop the foundation directly onto the skin, which a couple of times has squirted over my jeans and on makeup bag etc. Maybe I'm just too clumsy for a pipet foundation bottle :')
