I was first introduced to David Lynch through Twin Peaks as well. I binged it and was so excited about it. After that, like you, Matt, I started looking up his other works, including his student films. But Eraserhead messed me up because we just had our 1st baby, and every time she cried, the image of that Eraserhead baby hit me, and I felt repulsed, lol. He was great at slowing down a scene, and making something mundane seem interesting. His brilliance will be missed.
