I just picked up The Macallan Edition 4 last week and immediately wondered about the Edition 5 when I saw the title of this video... Now I'm reasonably sure that this is not what I thought it was... $4000? My limit is usually $200, and I can be persuaded to part with as much as $300 for a bottle on rare occasions, but this is pure insanity. I probably wouldn't even like it...

@@lethu6413 well if you’re just talking better whiskies in general then where do I begin… anything from Springbank & Kilkerran is better, Glen Garioch 12, Ardbeg Uig. If you’re talking similar character whisky, Arran 18 is fraction of this price and way better stuff.

Sorry but complete over kill when there’s more theatre in the unboxing and it’s a NAS whisky Macallan do this so well. You watch on the auction sites and watch the prices it makes. An over hyped distillery.
