I know you do mostly botanicals and they're amazing but I was wondering, since you've done some birds too, if you'd be willing to possibly do a Shoebill? It's my best friend's favorite bird and I'd like to see how you do it so I could learn how to go about it myself as I really want to paint one for her : ) No pressure!

I’ve just had a quick look and it looks really beautiful bird. If anybody you know can find any images that they would allow us to use then I’m more than happy to do it, of course they have to be royalty free and give full permission but it’s interesting

Thank you Susie. I guess you could use something like a cadmium lemon for the kind of yellow lemon tone but because it’s opaque you may want to add a little bit of Chinese white or something like that
