Connie Mahaswaren: Whitney was a very good singer but she tried to put herself on the same level as not only Donna Summer but Chaka Khan and other great singers. I'm sorry but she had the potential to be a great singer but she came along at the wrong time... the eighties...which was not as kind to R&B singers as say the 70's or the 60's.During the eighties, even great R&B singers such as Stevie Wonder and Patti Labelle kind of sold out by watering down their music to some extent. Fortunately, singers like Patti Labelle, Stevie Wonder and others had already achieved greatness by the time the eighties came along. Unfortunately for Whitney, she was just getting started when the eighties came along and was never really able to really reach her potential. Imao, Whitney lent her voice to some rather subpar songs during the eighties that were not worthy of someone with a voice like hers. This, in my opinion, diminishes her stature as a great singer. This is why I say she is not worthy to duet with someone of Donna Summer's stature.

There are some bad things happening in the world. This song and this singer is so good, it reminds us all that there are so many good things in the world. The song and Donna's voice is stuck inside my head, I keep hearing it over and over. .

Brilliant. A few months ago, naively, I thought Donna's only hit was "I feel love" because it was the only I'd ever heard. Slowly I've discovered more of her songs, "bad girls" "hard for the money" "loves unkind" "this time i know it's for real" "last dance" to name a few and now this gem. One of the most underrated singers ever. RIP Donna Summer. You gave us the gift of your wonderful voice, talent and music. I only wish I could of seen you live. Gone too soon.

How did the algorithms send me here ! What a singer - What a song - The high notes she hits gives me goosebumps still and I've heard this track so many times - Timeless, flawless and classic - pure raw power and control - Never could this song be replicated - Thanks!

Unbelievable rendition! Not much for the disco era of music but this... It's the only one that stands tall among so much. And Donna Summer is quite an experience without anyone holding a candle.

You know, 'I Feel Love' used to be my favourite DS song (EVERYTIME it came on the radio, I used strut my stuff, as best I could, for a 9 year old). But, the more I heard this, the more I liked it. Especially, the bit from 1 m.44 s to 2 m 24 s. Just, a, FABULOUS, cover song. RIP, DS - Your songs will live, forever!

YES, Dean, it was cool and fabulous, you just had to select your events and locations! A huge city just has a bit of everything, but you can definitely avoid the bad stuff!! I did. And this song still gives me goosebumps!

When Donna Summer was born, God Himself ordained her to sing this song. No one else did it justice. She was absolutely superb - even flawless.

Listening to her and Barry white takes me back to when I was a little boy listening to this on the AM Radio yes AM radio in Dads Ford LTD. Those were good peaceful times to me, life was good! Singers had real voices and had class unlike most today. Darn I miss the good ole days. 56 now but listening to this makes me feel 8 years old again lolol
