You guys are amazing. Wish I could wind the clock back 20 years. Just love the Skydio footage. Got relatives in USA so thinking of getting them to source me one. I have the Mavic Air 2 which is ok in open terrain. Bearing in mind I am now over 60 would Carn Liath be doable on my Cube E-bike. I did Carn a Chlamain opposite last summer. Your vids are something else. Cheers. Stoozer.
@McTrailRider3 жыл бұрын
The Mavic air 2 is pretty decent in the open and at slower speeds👍 Wouldn’t recommend Carn Liath on the bike it’s very steep on one side and very loose on the other.

@@McTrailRider Yeah I hear what you are saying CRAZY MAN but I have been mountain biking for over 30 years and been hospitalised a few times but always bounce back. I'm not bothered about the loose stuff coz back in the day, when I ran my old mtb club, we used to bomb down loose scree on fully rigid bikes (old Muddy Fox & Zarasen Killiracer) without a care in the world. But spent a fortune getting buckled wheels replaced. However I'm now 62 and my old carefree skills have diminished and my confidence is not the same as it used to be. I was more concerned about the climb and if it would be too much (despite Ebike walk assist). I'm still strong & well capable of hiking with a bike. On 2nd thoughts you know what! Forget my 'old man' ramblings. I'm just going to do it on a nice dry sunny day; take two cans of Carlsberg Special and two pork pies with me for lunch at the summit. And then bomb it down. Love your vids. They are AWESOME. Cheers. Stoozer.
@McTrailRider3 жыл бұрын
@@bigstoozeradventures you’ll probably be fine then👍 Don’t go up the main face though, I wouldn’t tackle it with an ebike, instead go up the Singletrack that we descended in the video and then take a left at the shoulder. I think that would be the way I would do it if I went back👍
@bigstoozeradventures3 жыл бұрын
@@McTrailRider Nice was thinking that but I think I will do it both ways in good weather. I'm tough. Made of hard rubber and still capable of doing tough shit. Really tough fook up hill shite. So no worry mad man I will do it in the future...
