Macbeth Icefield - Best Hiking Trail in the Kootenay 🇨🇦

Every summer I enjoy going on an amazing trek in Canada. This year I decided to try the Macbeth Icefield Trail north of Kaslo, British Columbia. It was one of the best treks I have ever done! It can be done as a day hike but I packed my gear and camped for 2 nights. It must remind everyone it's for experienced hikers as it's not easy. 🤓

Legit! Is round trip 15 miles or one day/ascend 15 miles?

I logged 8.2km on my GPS on the descent starting at the lake at the base of the glacier to the parking lot. So a total of 16.4km round trip. Plus more if you include walking around when you're up at the base of the glacier.
