Upgrade from my 2020 intel MBA which I absolutely loved to this 15 inch M2 . Debating long and hard over the M1 because of the price difference but soooooo glad I bit the bullet and went with this. The size and performance is awesome.

It’s very very impressive and the fact that I have the 2020 Intel i3 MacBook Air and upgrading to this MacBook Air M2 15 in 2023 , im definitely going to excited when I get it since it will be my first MacBook with the new M2 chip when I never had an M1 chip MacBook so it’s going to very interesting but yet excited for the performance! And customized it with 24GB RAM/256GB SSD

For me it wasn’t worth for the Pro since I have a 165hz gaming monitor and only upgraded to 24GB RAM and it was SO worth it than the SSD upgrade, since right now it’s at 12GB ram used so that extra ram space is just so nice to see and it’s very smooth with no lag at all and there’s no alternatives to RAM when hard drives do have a lot of alternatives!

I would wait for M3, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD in the base model. Come on it's 2023 already. Base model price has increased 30% compared to M1.

The backlight bleed on this laptop is awful. I swapped mine out for another 15 inch and had the same experience. The backlight bleed is very noticable when watching dark content. I hated it so much that I had to returned it; it was really bothering me. The same issue is plaguing the 13 inch macbook air. It is a known issue and is all over reddit. Turns out that it is because of the shitty cheap lcd panel apple uses. I switched for the samsung galaxy book 3 pro 360 16 inch and am much happier. It is a much better computer and the screen beats even the m2 macbook pro 16 inch. Also, it was cheaper than the macbook air 15 inch so I am pretty pleased. I never feel like I am getting my money's worth with apple products.. always feel ripped off or have compromise. No more of that!

the background bleed is real......def has some noticeable glare....but 95% of consumers wont care about that to be honest 😅
