@@OffersAlone Probably the most intensive task I do is working in Photoshop on a weekly basis. Also do audio editing every week. Mostly basic stuff besides that. Pages, Keynote, browsing, email, etc.

I also have the same use as you have I use my MacBook Air M2 for light photo editing or to prepare my artwork and also for some admin tasks concerning art contests, exhibitions or managing my art business. For the rest I use my IMac but must admit that this M2 Air is more than capable I can´t wait to update to the M4 generation in 2025.

Hey me too!! 😂 I only use it for business like email, task management, notes summary, and business management, nothing particular to photo/video editing, gaming or anything that requires speed performance, but still rocks good! Maybe next year I will upgrade but for now, I will give Apple one more year to develop a good MacBook Pro before I update to the next model

I have been using 24GB air as a software developer, I got the 15" and RAM helps me run multiple VMs for linux and windows development or various experiments I want to run without ruining the Mac. I wouldn't even buy 24GB if you are concerned about chrome tabs, only if you know that you need to allocate 8-12GB for a specific app or task.

I switched to this from mac m1 air. It feels 2x snappy than m1. At first i didn't liked the design of this but now I'm used to this. And i I don't like the wedge shape design. 😂
