Hello! this docking works at 10bit depth for the external monitor display that supports it? i've heard that display link supports only 8bit...maybe you can give us a feedback about that :)

Thanks for the video ! I still don't understand how one single dock can handle 3 x 4K60 displays + other peripherals... I thought Thunderbolt 40Gb/s could only support up to one 4K144 display 🤔 (with no bandwidth left)

What about the temperature of the device? Does it make any kind of noise? If it is connected to the MacBook Pro turned off, does it turn on when I press the boot button of the Ugreen? Thanks for creating this content.

Devices get warm like any other dock. The power button is for the dock only.

Hi Jerry, thanks for the video. I have a question. Is there any way to connect the Apple Studio Display (5k and Thunderbolt cable) with this docking station? Or, could you provide any alternatives (different docking stations or workaround)? I found other docking stations with Thunderbolt ports, but it seems like they don't support DisplayLink. I'm using Mackbook Air M2. I have one Studio Display and two non-Studio Display monitors. I want to connect my MBA M2 with Studio Display and two (or at least one) more other displays.

I think you will need to connect the studio display to one port on the Mac and the display link dock to the other.

Hey u got a hint for me, how to use 3 displays with the green 12in1? Two of my displays running well, but the third on , connected to the 8k cdmi , isn't running. Also the DisplayLink software didn't recognize it. It's just with this one port. Any Idea maybe?

One of my displays (Apple) is USB-C only. Can I use the dock for both a USB-C display and an HDMI? If not, can I connect the USB-C display to my MBAir and the other HDMI through the 7-in-1 Dock?

It it is a studio display or lg5k display that would be thunderbolt and you would connect directly to the Air and the dock could be used for additional displays.

Yes. You need the displaylink software installed to run the second display.

Liar, the 7in1 is the biggest crap my dies after few mounths and If u use it as Desk solution and u are charging your MacBook after few hours the hdmi die hat it’s have to cool down
