macbook pro 2013 late A1502 trackpad replacement

The battery and trackpad have been removed at least once before (you can see the old residual glue marks) . They are much harder to get out first time around and you have to take care not to break or pierce the old batteries as they still retain some charge and can burst into flames. If your not confident definitely take this to a shop for repair.

I have corrosion on my touchpad and it is causing problems. I unplugged the flat cable and wanted to use an external mouse. But when I it, the keyboard stops working too. Although it has a separate connection to the board. You don't know why this is?

Not being able to find the trackpad for this late model 2013 has me wondering if thee are any left. All I see are used units on Ebay. :-(

What size is the one screw holding the trackpad? It seems it is a pentalobe but larger than the ones used on the cover
