Just released a video of the same sort of issue with an A2442, I do love the MLCC's and hope that manufacturers keep using them - it makes life a lot more straight forward ( well, except for the times where the cap is so incredibly well shorted or so weakly shorted that thermal detection methods don't work

Professor Sorin is very happy when two factors coincide: a damaged capacitor and, most importantly, he does not need to disassemble and reassemble the motherboard of a MacBook, one of the delights of the microcomputer technician.

If you watch this video in reverse Sorin put a capacitor in a laptop and broke it. The moral of the story you ask? Just remove all capacitors an no issues shall arise.

No capacitor, no broken capacitor. Can be.

Most of them are filter caps that are just there to remove EMF noise and meet FCC regulations. It's only really the PS output caps that are "necessary" for operation.

Hi Sorin, I have a repair job, Macbook A1466 model, Battery not charging,shown 0%. When I checked Battery voltage, its 0 voltage. I tried to push some current from dc power supply, but Battery voltage not increased. Kindly tell how to boost Battery voltage
