Hey, I’m on a MacBook Air 2018 / 2019. Im on the fourth step. When you say let it charge for 15mins are we to plug the charger in while it’s off and wait 15mins then turn on? OR are we to turn it on and plug it in for 15mins? Forgive me if it seems like silly question. I’m assuming it’s while it’s off but it wasn’t clear so I’m asking 🙏🏽.

In my case my macbook has the following issues(m2 pro 14inches): When the battery drains the charger led will blink and then some point it will turn on. When the battery is beyond drain or maybe not the charger led will not light up. Charger works fine on other macbook but not on this one. I tried all steps without opening one and also tried charging from other thunderbolts two chargers at same time. But nothing worked. Apart from this my macbook has two more issues The right speaker has crackling noise or looks damaged. The system clock goes behind after each restart.

@@bear532 not at all the professional’s were not able to fix my mac they said its a newer model. Apple said to buy a new motherboard is the solution. So its lying like a brick in my house as I can’t afford a new motherboard. But if you are under warranty it will be free for you

thank you very much :) , my mac with c port was able to restart with shift+control+command + power option. after several attempts. it worked after trying 2nd c port with the power cord. I had no power on my battery at all for few days and it would not charge, was about to take to the repair shop, you saved me...Cheers!

Omg! I kid you not….I did the first step with the holding down shift, control, option and power for the 10 seconds and it came back on. Not only that it had 7% power!!! It had literally died before this and now it’s charging like nothing ever happened. Before this I had tried a different cord, a different outlet ect. This was like some kinda magic trick!! Guys pro tip: try this. Do it all quickly right after the other. 1. Plug the cord in then right away [shift+control+option&power] hold it for 10 seconds count slow 2. Let go then press the power button 3 times 3. ⭐️if it still doesn’t turn on. Unplug the usb-c/ power cord then plug it back in. Do this until you see something

I took it to Apple… they said that it’s “what considered an “vintage model”, therefore they do not support it at all. They would recommend upgrading… buying a new MacBook. I got a MacBook Pro from a refurbish site. I previously got a Mac mini that worked fine from the same site. When I got it the battery was low. I started it up so see if it worked. Later I went to set it up and the battery was dead. Plugged in the charger and it wouldn’t power on. I waited and still nothing. I plugged into another type without the charging block I left it all when I went to bed. Woke up and powered on. Ran the battery down that day setting it up and installing software. Plugged it up to charge over night. It hasn’t turned back on since. I’m gonna ask for a refund .
