As mentioned, shift and resume is proper way to use headland mode when turning around. Set the 2 different cutting heights is case you want to lift over a rock or something and still be cutting. I was here to remember how to get my header into float mode.

Set point 2 should not necessarily be used for headland turn arounds. There is a mode specifically for headlands. And you hold the back shift button and the resume button and that will put it in headland mode and will automatically raise the head past the max height set point so it kicks the counter off. If you have your headland settings set it'll also adjust your sieves and fan speed to adjust when turning around to minimize crop blowout.

I think it's better to set the 2 set points for different working heights as you can just use shift + resume and it will lift up to turn around

A majority of the macdons have the headsight tilt sensors and then you turn your lateral tilt on I think.
