Nice shave John been awhile brother always nice to see a video from you. I am hooked on Mcduff after finally trying them recently for the first time. I bought 5 of the V3 soaps which in my experience are as good as the V4 they were like 50% off. I did hear with first 2 versions there was a stink to the base I am happy I did not go threw that. I have the V4 set of Gold Rose and love it a lot, I have 5 other v3 but cannot remember all the names lol take care man.

Great shave that scent actually sounds great, and the base is good. I tried spring cabin in v4 and it is great, just didn’t love the scent. Stay safe

I'm a fan of Macduffs v4 soap base as well. I only have a few soaps from them but I really like those scents. Good shave bro! 🍻

Nice shave, John! I received samples of that V2 base. And yeah, it is pretty gross. Lol. I really wanna try that Trail Tobacco, the Birch + Root, and the White Wine scents from MacDuffs.

Yeah man it was awful lol. the last 2 you mentioned sound pretty great. I like Trail tobacco but wish I would have maybe picked up their white wine scent instead. I'm a fan of that stuff. take care bro

I’m going to have to give it to the Barrister & Mann soaps. Both excelsior and Omnibus are just crazy dense.
