I saw Aurora live just before christmas, and she hits so fucking hard. I've seen Slayer, Metallica and many other metal bands, but none of them made me want a moshpit as much as Aurora did.

I remember someone saying that one powerful thing they got from the video was that all of her movement was rooted into one place, like the trees would be. Ever since I read that, the dancing she does on this has become much more powerful to me. I don't know if that is what she meant to convey. :)

Yay! Glad you got to this. For live performances, here are my favs. I know you’ve reacted to some already: Murder Song (5,4,3,2,1) (Nobel Peace Prize Concert) Through the Eyes of a Child (Vevo UK Lift) It happened Quiet (live at Nidarosdomen) Under the water (Vevo halloween) Wardruna and Aurora - Helvegen (first vid that comes up) Haik Concert (The full Haik documentary is also worth watching, gives a lot of insight into Aurora as a human) Favourite covers: God is a woman (Ariana Grande cover) Teardrop (Massive Attack cover) Across the universe (Beatles Cover) Believer (Imagine Dragons Cover) Life on Mars (David Bowie Cover)

Your preaching to the CHOIR as an Indigenous Native American Indian Woman...my parents protested at Alcatraz. My mother raised funds to release political prisoner Leonard Peltier. I personally spoke to Congress on behalf of 119 Tribes so I am AWARE o the two tiered justice system in A Great Country that my ancestors loved before it was called “America”. Thanks for your Reaction to a Great Song. 🙇🏻♀️❤️🔍🇺🇸☝🏽🕊👏🏽

Aurora started to perform 'The Seed' live long before it finally became part of an album and long before the video was done. And she performed the song quite some time before Greta for the first time went public in Stockholm. Maybe, but we don't know, Greta also was influenced by this song. As much as Billie Eilish was influenced by Aurora to start her career, as she told in an interview (also to be found on yt).

That Greta chick had nothing to do with this. Aurora loves the planet more than anything. She doesn't need to be influenced by anyone, it's just who she is. She grew up near a forest and spends a lot of time walking trough the forest. She says that's where she's most at peace. It's her home say from home

The two biggest causes of global warming are fussil fuel emission and animal agriculture. then however we also have plastic pollution, fishing net pollution, toxic waste, acoustic pollution, particulates, and so on. Individuals have a lot of control over this, and it all comes down to individual choices, as the human population is made up of individual humans. Whether we buy disposable plastic, our dietary choices and so on, have in the end a massive effect on the Earth

This is not a music video. It's multimedia art, with a deep and important meaning.

This is my understanding of the lyrics of It happened quiet and "The Seed". In "It happened Quiet" she is singing about the fires we saw in Australia and Brasil "the red outside your window. And since Love is wild - a force of nature, not created for humans but for life itself. Love will return from the shadows after we have colored the nature outside our windows red and color our beds - turn them red. In The Seed Aurora is calling on her "Warriors" to conquer their mind with love and battle the night.

Aurora was a dancer before she started to write and record songs.
@TerjeMathisen4 жыл бұрын
@503 Workshop Sorry, you are of course correct that she did teach herself playing the keyboards first, but she was in fact dancing before she started _recording_ those early tracks. I'm still totally flabbergasted that she could write 'Lucky' as a 9 year old. :-)
@staffankarlsson14284 жыл бұрын
She was dance training for about nine years. I suppose in parallell with her music and singing development.
@egiljohnsen61454 жыл бұрын
As far as I know, she took dance lessons from the age of 6 to the age of 16 (when her music career started). Here is an example: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qH7QpWSti8ydr5o

We proceed forward by choosing politicians who believe in science and democracy and peace, have empathy, are brave to change the world for good - capitalism is very obviously not the solution !

6:25 we tend to say that ... but is that so? you can't say 'people' in that sentece as it is so misleading since it's such a broad term though. yes some of us struggle, some of us don't at all, and most of us are somewhere in the middle of that entire spectrum. looking at real numbers it's not as bad as people keep saying, which is not to say it isn't bad though! it's just not true that everyone is living paycheck to paycheck. the majority is just concerned with other things, and so disconnected from it all that nobody is lying awake from these bigger problems. We all feel like we as just 1 ant in the entire population can't change much about it.
@saelfaer4 жыл бұрын
I do have to agree with your ending words though, there is no connected-ness between people online unless you're 100% in their camp. If you question a certain view you are immediately pushed into the other side, 'you're against us' ... everything seems to be so black and white and vile like you say. So don't get me wrong, my above comment was not to put you down but to try and combat these black and white images of us as a people being either rich or poor.

Does the term "Speak out of Turn" mean anything to you?..... There is a time to pause to reflect on your thoughts, but I guess you don't quite understand that timing. The other phrase that comes to me is "verbal diarrhoea". Many of the things that you said do make perfect sense, but there were a great many things that need not have been uttered at all! (Yes, that's how much you talk!) Really dude, have some sense of timing please. You show great potential as reflected by your thoughts, but you have no sense on when to say it!
