Not only that, mna I was shocked at the way people dorned the idouku and raised their fists proclaiming "I am Winnie Mandela"...uMam Winnie suffered, she was tortured and incarcerated for 491 DAYS IN SOLITARY CONFINEMENT! Winnie Mandela was SELFLESS and FEARLESS and CARING. To be Winnie Mandela one must be SELFLESS, FEARLESS and CARING (willing to share their last slice of bread), how many of those women who claimed her in death , are living like that in their day to day?

Love, love, love Celeste, her mind is totally brilliant. She understands her role as an artist to be the conscience of society. I had to watch this interview twice because she has such a refreshing insight into the human relations. I share her views on a lot of things and there are so many gems in this interview but what resonated with me most is “I’ll never date a black man who doesn’t understand that we need to break generational curses”, this right there is what we as black women should be about!

One thing about MacG, he’s a great listener and if he gets advice, best believe he will use it! I think that’s honestly one of his secrets to his success! He really took some of Anele’s pointers when it comes to interviewing! Look at how he quotes somethings that Celeste said in other interviews and asking her to unpack! I want to learn this skill too.
