Dr Malinga gave us everything, every single moment was discussed so openly and authentically .. he hides his sadness so well and I really hope South Africa takes time to actually see him and deal compassionately with his pain … watching Nasty C’s tictok response kinda made me realise the lack of emotional intelligence in some people, not everything needs to be responded to, 🤨

True. Our grandmothers really raised us. I'm the 4th of six kids who are all over with their grannies from partenal side.. , all different fathers, mother was very absent. Now its like her child is the last born with whom she stays with... And with her last born' father.

This episode has to fall under my favourites category. I was completely engaged from the beginning to the end (laughed so hard and cried), what a funny, wise, compassionate and humble man. I pray his journey is blessed with his hearts desires. What a gem of an episode, watching all the way from the US 🇺🇲. This podcast brings me so much joy and keeps me connected to (home) SA 🇿🇦.

I don't usually comment after watching the podcast but I was touched by this interview. As a philanthropist that doesn't post on social media what they do, I get Dr. Malinga's heart. It is hard to go out for donations because it feels like you are the one the would is expecting to get things from, and now you are asking the would to give you. When I relocated and moved to UK my mom said to me, ''go and eat your money, we will be fine here at home. Think about yourself first when you get there.'' I still feel like i need to send money home even thought I have not stabled-up. I think of all the street kids i used to help and feel like I deserted them. I hope he recovers. #liftUpmalinga
