How many MacGregor 26M's did they make befor ehtye shut down production? any ideas?

Judging from my hull number, at least 7 or 8 thousand. They slowed production due to EPA mandates requiring expensive scrubbers. The factory video at the time I bought ours stated over 35000 but I thought that was all models, 25, S, D, 26, X and M.

I almost bought a Catalina 30 and what attracted me to it were the mods. All stuff I wouldn't have to do myself. If someone walked on this boat vs a stock boat, it might be exactly what they are looking for, if he was selling it. But if it fits your needs then great. Boats are the most depreciating thing a person can own, so if you use it, I consider it part of the fun fee. Memories are priceless!
