MacGregor (KONE) Marine Elevator Chime

*WARNING: Please DO NOT mention or disclose the location of this elevator, even if you already know it!!
A short sample video of the chime of a 1996 KONE (branded as MacGREGOR) marine elevator onboard a cruise ship. This elevator look exactly like the standard older KONE elevators like you would normally seen at land except that this one is branded as MacGREGOR instead which was exclusive for installations in cruise ships/cruise ferries.
Full video of this elevator will be available in February or March next year (when I return home to Indonesia) as right now I don't have my laptop with me. I have also filmed a few other service elevators in here, as well as a bunch of elevators (some are vintage) in five different EU countries.

Anyways, you still can found these chime in INDOLIFT-Kone installation in Indonesia such as the La Moda Fatmawati and Mulia Hotels Senayan. But the chime only heard when you press the call buttons.

Not sure why regular M has much better speakers for the chime than Novel Elements, which often go screamo on a regular basis.

Nice chimes, heard like 16bit music instruments. Rare to seen in Indonesia. I don't know exactly what chime in Mulia Hotels (KONE M) Btw congratulation for surpassing 5000 subscribers. And I am on the way to the 1000 subscribers (Community tab)

The chimes at Hotel Mulia Senayan (both the main and car park elevators) sounds exactly like this one, though the main ones have a single tone version to indicate up direction.

No, this elevator uses pure microprocessor control (KONE Traffic Master System/TMS).

Oh wow I didn't notice that! As far as I know, they are called simply as M, bit idk though.

M-series stands for Mustasarja (black series) So the official name is Mustasarja or Black series, but you can still use "Kone M"

Interesting. Oddly enough the M Series buttons also have the silver and gold (rare) version. The inside buttons of this elevators are in fact the silver version. All the elevators here have the standard black buttons for the call buttons, including the passenger elevators. Sadly the passenger ones have had their inside buttons replaced with Schaefer RT 42 buttons. I don't want to film any of the passenger elevators because, other than the boring modernized fixtures inside, as a crew member working in the ship I am not allowed to use the passenger elevators. Luckily all the crew/service elevators here still have their original silver M buttons inside.
