As an old-school equipment golfer myself, I love this video. Currently using a set of *Titleist 681* and *Titleist 710MB* forged blades. But now got a set of *Mizuno MP-32* on the way _and_ eyeing up a set of *MacGregor VIP Jack Nicklaus*

I just ordered the new MacGregor MT-86 Pro irons; they have the look of the old school musclebacks with all the modern technology. They seem to be the best of both other worlds portrayed in this video.

Thanks for that video. I have modern clubs, but I prefer playing my vintage clubs. I think my favorite clubs are my 1976 Wilson Staff blades along with an early 1970's Laminated Wood Wilson 4350 1 wood (and a matching 5 wood). I shot around 73 at my home course 1 month ago (I say around because we had to skip a par 5 eleventh hole to finish by dark-- so I would have had to par that to shoot a legitimate 73). One of my next rounds was a 76. So people say why don't you play modern clubs and try to break par? Honestly, I don't think modern clubs help me.

Great video. Good to see that older equipment can still be good, do not need to drop tons of money on the latest tech.

I love the Mac VIp's . Sorry I ever sold mine. I've been playing TM Tour Issue C heads for 12years and don't think I have seen any new irons that are better though I will say I have interest in-trying a set of Takomo's. They look nice for an inexpensive iron.

Hey! I've just bought the same mac gregor irons for US$30!! But i dont know much aborto them, are they good then???

They are a great iron, I actually have 2 sets (don't ask lol) they do however need a strong consistent swing to perform well, but that's true of most older muscle back style blades, in fact I would say for all blades. The lofts are different to modern irons (not as strong) but I love mine, I feel I can shot shape and controll the ball more, again this is due to a higher ball flight and less run out on the greens from linger irons, well that's unless you thin one lol. Enjoy playing with them and thank you for the sub my friend
